Valérie Martin, ACC, CPHR

CERTIFIED COACH, ACCREDITED TRAINER,
TALENT & CULTURE STRATEGIST

Valérie is a management and leadership coach with 25 years of experience in the corporate world, which has allowed her to acquire an in-depth understanding of the realities and challenges that organizations encounter.

Over the past decades, she has developed expertise in organizational transformation, leadership and talent development, human resources management, employee experience, recruitment, engagement strategy, corporate culture, and corporate social responsibility. As a strategic partner, she excels in the art of quickly building business relationships based on trust.​

 

Prior to founding Genre Humain, Valerie served on several executive teams. She held the position of Vice President, Communications, Culture and Corporate Social Responsibility for the ALDO Group, a global fashion footwear company.

Most recently, Valerie served as Vice President of Talent & Culture for the LCI Education Network, which now spans five continents and 23 private higher education campuses. Earlier in her career, Valerie also held marketing, event management and public relations positions. ​

 

Valérie was the President of Image and Branding for mmode (the Metropolitan Fashion Cluster), a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the competitiveness and growth of the fashion industry in Quebec. In addition, she has served on the board of directors of the CQCD (Conseil Québécois du commerce au détail), an organization that brings together more than 5,000 commercial establishments and represents nearly 70% of the economic activity related to retail in Quebec. Currently, Valérie sits on the Board of Directors of Doctors of the World. This organization aims to provide and promote access to health care for excluded and vulnerable people in Canada and worldwide. ​
 

Over the course of her career, Valerie has been a speaker at numerous international events (HRD Learning & Development Summit, Employee Engagement Summit, Sustainable Brands, Drapers Sustainable Fashion, Globe Series, etc.), where she has had the opportunity to speak on a variety of topics that she is passionate about such as diversity & inclusion, corporate culture, purpose, carbon neutrality, etc.​​
 

Valerie is a certified coach who is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), She is also a member of the Coaching Institute at Harvard Medical School and aspires to adopt the latest research in positive psychology and leadership in her practice.

Tanya Iermieri, Prosci-Certified

ACCREDITED TRAINER,
TRANSFORMATION & COMMUNICATION EXPERT

Tanya is a PROSCI-certified change management expert with over 15 years of experience in communications, training and development, public relations, events, branding, engagement strategy, employer branding, corporate culture and purpose.

Tanya is a communications and branding expert whose determination is fueled by a passion to help, inspire and grow those around her.  Tanya is a born communicator, a lover of words obsessed with sharing compelling messages to diverse audiences. Charismatic and engaging, Tanya is also an experienced master of ceremonies and presenter. In fact, she has hosted and participated in many events throughout her career, always communicating with a touch of humour and compassion.​
 

Prior to becoming a consultant, Tanya made her mark in a variety of senior positions in communications, marketing, change management, training and development and corporate culture. Most recently, Tanya served as Global Director of communications & Culture for the LCI Education Network. She worked closely with stakeholders on 23 campuses around the world to drive corporate culture and enable teams to maximize their potential. ​
 

Previously, she was Director of Global Communications for the Quebec-based multinational ALDO Group. She was responsible for internal and external corporate communications, working with senior executives, media and partners on a variety of different projects. Tanya has successfully led the creation of major change management strategies (SAP implementation, Workday, etc.) and has worked on major organizational transformations in collaboration with internationally renowned consultants. ​

Tanya holds a Graduate Diploma in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in History & Community and Public Affairs from Concordia University. Passionate about corporate culture, Tanya is a dedicated strategist, obsessed with delivering captivating stories to diverse audiences and implementing transformational programs across organizations.
